As a Ministry Approved BDE Course Provider, Jeff’s Brampton Driving School allows you to complete driver training that goes well beyond passing your road test.

This course consist of:

  • 20 hours of online digital instructions that allows for a self-directed and self-paced learning
  • 10 hours of online digital Homelinks – exercises to be completed at your own schedule
  • 10 hours of in-car training – one on one lessons 60 minutes to 120 minutes long

  • Responsibilities of a driver (role of attitude)
  • Rules of the Road (Ontario Highway Traffic Act regulations)
  • Physical Limitation of Vehicles and Drivers (laws of physics)
  • Adverse Driving Conditions (rain, snow, fog, night driving, etc.)
  • Role of Fatigue and Distractions
  • Alcohol and Drug Impairment
  • Defensive Driving Techniques
  • Time and Space Management
  • Collision Avoidance Techniques

In-Car - 10 Hours

  • Pre-Driving Sequence (vehicle controls, mirrors' set up, etc.)
  • Stopping, Starting, Safety margin, Eye movement
  • Residential Turns
  • Major Intersections (left turns, right turns, yield controlled turns)
  • Three point turns
  • Stall parking (driving in, backing in)
  • Parallel parking
  • Road side stop (hill parking)
  • One way streets
  • Lane changing
  • Highway driving (merging, lane changing, exiting)
